According to Deadline, Emmy nominee Rosie Perez (The Flight Attendant) has been tapped to joined the Before cast for Apple TV+’s upcoming limited drama, which will be led by executive producer Billy Crystal. Perez will be portraying one of the leading roles named Denise, who’s described as a caring and a caring and strong-willed foster mother.
What to expect in Before?
Before is a 10-episode character-driven psychological thriller which hails from writer Sarah Thorp. It revolves around a child psychiatrist named Eli, who’s trying to cope with grief of recently losing his wife Lynn. She is love of Eli’s life, who’s described as seductively enigmatic.
In the series, Eli encounters a troubled young boy who seems to have a haunting connection to Eli’s past,” reads the logline. “As Eli digs deeper into the hidden life of the wife he thought he knew, he soon finds Lynn haunting him from beyond the grave.”
Thorp will also serve as the showrunner, while Adam Bernstein will be directing the pilot. Executive producers are Crystal, Thorp, Bernstein, Eric Roth, and Jet Wilkinson.
