Great Baddow High School has been working with the Education and Outreach team at UK Parliament, to create an exciting event to mark UK Parliament Week 2022!

UK Parliament Week (week beginning 14^th November) is an annual event in the United Kingdom that aims to inspire an interest in parliament, politics and democracy and encourage young people to engage with the UK’s democratic system and institutions.

This year, students in the Sixth Form will have the chance to vote in a mock election for the four major political parties. We have four students who will represent the major political parties, setting out to students why they should vote for their respective party.

We are also delighted to be able to welcome Mrs. Vicky Ford (MP), who will be speaking to students on voting, the role of an MP and the general workings of the British political system.
