If the preview photos are anything to go by, episode 13 of My Demon promises to be an intense journey for both Do Do-Hee and demon Jung Gu-Won. Meanwhile, in the previous episode, viewers found out that Madam Ju (Kim Hae-Sook) had already seen the demon. Moreover, it was evident that Gu-Won struck a deal with Do-Hee’s parents as he was present at the time of their accident and subsequent death.

At the end of the last episode, Gu-Won burnt the contract after Do-Hee’s parents passed away in the accident. Although this indicates a deal he made with them, it is still unclear as to how Madam Ju was able to see Gu-Won. Moreover, now that the demon remembers his past life with Do-Hee, he wishes to make this life a happy one for the two. But after Noh Do-Gyeong’s death, only more secrets await the two.

In the photos, both Do-Hee and Gu-Won join the former’s family for dinner. The members include Noh Suk-Min and his wife, Kim Se-Ra, Noh Soo-An, and Joo Seok-Hoon. Suk-Min’s son Noh Do-Gyeong’s death was ruled out to be suicide. His mental health struggles were apparent to the people around him. However, with time, Do-Hee grows suspicious about his death.

While Do-Hee feels that Do-Gyeong’s death has something to do with his father, Suk-Min has another plan up his alley. In a preview clip for episode 13, Do-Hee questions if the family had nothing to do with Do-Gyeong’s death. Meanwhile, Suk-Min will tell Do-Hee that it was Madam Ju who had killed her parents. This news will send shockwaves through Do-Hee’s soul, considering Madam Ju adopted her soon after her parents’ death.

The shock, curiosity, and suspense are visible on all the characters’ faces in the pictures. It is evident that there are still several secrets and revelations yet to be uncovered.

Don’t forget to tune in to My Demon Episode 13 on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS and later on Netflix.
