Following its theatrical release, the film received mixed reviews from the audience and critics. The movie’s story revolves around a powerful spirit who captures the body of a six-year-old girl. This girl also has a speech impairment. Only Annamma, a demonologist, recuses the family from this evil spirit and finds out her intention.

Srikanth’s Pindam Movie OTT release date in January 2024

As mentioned earlier, after its successful theatrical release, makers are now planning for the film’s digital debut. Recent reports suggest that the film is expected to be out on OTT platforms by mid-January. However, there has been no official announcement from the production house regarding its OTT release. Some other sources also suggest that the film will be out on Netflix, but the streaming giant has yet to confirm the news.

With a runtime of 2 hours and 38 minutes, Pindam has received a rating of 9.0/10 on IMDb. Viewers have shared that the direction of the horror story was brilliant, but some of the horror scenes were also predictable. The movie has similarities to the Hollywood film The Conjuring. Also, the film is full of flashback moments, which engage the audience to rethink the previous moments. Apart from this, the audience praised the cast for perfectly portraying the characters.

Since the OTT release of the film is yet to be announced officially, it remains to be seen what direction the makers will take regarding the film’s OTT debut.
