The much-awaited K-drama Flex X Cop released a brand-new trailer showcasing significant tension and promising drama. The series will premiere on January 26, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS. The drama will also be available to stream on Disney Plus in selected counties. The series follows the story of an arrogant third-generation chaebol, Jin Yi-Soo (Ahn Bo-Hyun), and a female detective, Lee Kang-Hyun (Park Ji-Hyun).
The newly released trailer documents Jin Yi-Soo and Lee Kang-Hyun’s first encounter. However, it looks like the two get off on the wrong foot after she mistakes him for someone else. The trailer further documents a fierce battle between the two, who don’t seem to be too fond of each other. Viewers will have to wait and see how the duo’s journey unfolds.
Flex X Cop trailer: Ahn Bo-Hyun, Park Ji-Hyun start off as enemies
The trailer for the upcoming SBS drama Flex X Cop begins with an introduction to Lee Kang-Hyun and her profession. She is a police detective who works hard day and night and is a veteran in the field. In the trailer, she begins by asking people who want to file a complaint for an assault. She introduces herself as the first female leader in the Homicide department.
Lee Kang-Hyun proceeds to Jin Yi-Soo, who she thinks is a murderer. She captures him as a special assault offender. But what the detective doesn’t know is that Yi-Soo is a third-generation chaebol. He is the youngest son of the Hansoo Group and has the privilege to get through this arrest. While Yi-Soo remains frustrated, locked up in a prison cell, Hansoo Group tries to get him out of the mess to maintain its public image.
Hansoo Group, along with high-ranking police officials, comes up with a cover story. They plot to reveal that Yi-Soo has been working as an undercover police officer. Eventually, due to this story, Yi-Soo becomes a detective and gets appointed to the same team as Kang-Hyun. Although she is frustrated, she has no other choice but to comply with fellow officials and work with Yi-Soo.
Unsurprisingly, the two instantly don’t bond well with each other. Kang-Hyun threatens Yi-Soo and orders him to not interfere in an internal investigation. But Yi-Soo ends up doing the opposite, and the two get into a battle with each other.
