Exclusive Boi de Conchas (The Shell Covered Ox) Trailer & Poster Preview Folklore Short Film

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Boi de Conchas (The Shell Covered Ox) trailer and poster for the Brazilian short film that is set to screen at Sundance Film Festival 2024. The film is set to premiere at Sundance on Sunday, January 21 at 12:15pm MST at the Prospector in Park City. Further screenings are as follows:

  • Monday, January 22nd at 5:30pm MST in the Shorts 4 program at the Gateway 6 in SLC
  • Thursday, Jan 25th at 12pm MST in the Shorts 4 program at the Redstone 7 in Park City
  • Saturday, Jan 27th at 4pm MST in the Shorts 4 program at the Gateway 6 in SLC
  • Sunday, Jan 28th at 1:30pm MST in the Shorts 4 program at the Holiday 2 in Park City

For anyone not in Park City, it will be available online/virtually from Sundance between January 25 and 28.

“While mourning her missing sister, Rayane balances helping her fisherman father and practicing for the school’s music festival – provided she doesn’t become an ox first, a misfortune assailing several teenagers in the area,” reads the movie’s synopsis.
